The VLT® Automation Drive FC300

The VLT® Automation Drive is a globally supported drive concept that provides exceptional control and energy savings in all applications driven by an electrical motor. 

Features and Benefits

-  Smart logic controller
The VLT® Automation Drive features logic control functions and a sequence control based on events and actions.

-  Safety 
The drive is delivered as standard with the Safe Torque Off (Safe Stop) function, in compliance with EN ISO 13849-1 Category 3 PL d and SIL 2 according to IEC 61508 low demand and high demand mode. STO can be extended to comply to PL e / SIL 3. The safety functions can be extended to include SS1, SLS, SMS, SSM, safe jog mode etc. with the VLT® Safe Option MCB140 Series and VLT® Safe Option MCB150 Series.

-  Coated circuit boards 
The VLT® AutomationDrive conforms to class 3C2 (IEC 60721-3-3) as standard. If used in especially harsh conditions it is possible to order a special coating that complies with class 3C3.

-  PM motor support 
Support for any non salient permanent magnet motor for better system efficiency in both VVC+ and FLUX mode

Built in DC coils and RFI filters - no EMC concerns
 and protects the drive. Also EMC fi lters are integrated
(meets EN 55011 A2, A1 or B). harmonic noise

-  Automatic Motor Adaptation, AMA
The AMA algorithm of the VLT AQUA Drive determines the electrical parameters for the connected motor and ensures efficient motor operation

-  Auto tuning of the PI controllers
With auto tuning of the PI controllers, the drive monitors how the system reacts on corrections made by the drive - and learns from it, so that precise and stable operation is achieved quickly
